Summary/Responsibilities
The Wine Concierge will serve as the primary point of contact for guests at Aperi at Paggi House, ensuring all guests are warmly welcomed and guided through the wine and charcuterie experience. This role is responsible for assisting guests in selecting wines, processing purchases, and providing attentive service to create a welcoming and memorable experience.
- Greet all guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor and serve as the primary host for the Aperi experience.
- Assist guests in selecting wines by offering knowledgeable recommendations and guiding them toward bottles that suit their preferences.
- Process guest purchases through the point-of-sale system and ensure all transactions are handled accurately.
- Open and present wine bottles to guests and provide the appropriate number of glasses for the group.
- Offer and sell food items including charcuterie and other Aperi menu offerings.
- Maintain the presentation and organization of the Aperi service area, ensuring wine displays, glassware, and service stations remain clean and well stocked.
- Communicate with Banquet and hotel leadership regarding guest needs, inventory concerns, or operational issues.
- Thank guests as they depart and ensure they leave with a positive and memorable experience.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation/Formal Training
- High school or equivalent education required.
Experience
- Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry
Knowledge/Skills
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills and phone etiquette
- Flexibility when working alternating shifts
- Ability to embody and impart Loren’s unique culture to all associates
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Physical Demands
- Able to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
