Job Description

Windows Systems Administrator
Location: Suitland, MD
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI

Leidos is seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to support critical mission operations at the Office of Naval Intelligence in Suitland, MD. This role is more than just IT—it’s about enabling operations that shape national security. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer MS Exchange, Data Spillage Compliance and Restoration of Mailboxes.
  • Administer and support Windows-based mission applications and hardware.
  • Configure, maintain, and secure physical and virtual systems to STIG standards.
  • Support system upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate across IT teams to ensure seamless operations and mission success.
  • Resolve technical issues using existing ticketing system and manage change requests.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and asset inventories.
  • Perform ACAS Driven System remediations to exceed System Compliance standards.
  • Support Cloud based Functions, integration and ongoing Exchange Online Migration.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance (in DISS).
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Security+ CE or IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2008–2022), MS Exchange, Active Directory, SCCM, and GPOs.
  • Strong troubleshooting, configuration, and migration skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with rack-mounted servers, networking, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Based servers and networking.
  • Familiarity with Cloud based servers, networking, and concepts.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
