The System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise middleware environments and server infrastructure.
This role ensures the availability, performance, security, and stability of application servers, web servers, and supporting Windows/Linux platforms.
The administrator works closely with application, database, network, and security teams to deliver reliable IT services and support business-critical applications.
Install, configure, and maintain middleware platforms.
Administer application servers
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
Perform middleware upgrades, migrations, and patching activities.
Manage SSL certificates, bindings, and security configurations.
Administer Windows Server and/or Linux server environments.
Manage server provisioning, decommissioning, and resource allocation.
Perform OS patching, hardening, and compliance activities.
Monitor CPU, memory, storage, and application performance.
Ensure high availability and server uptime requirements are met.
Troubleshoot application, middleware, and server-related issues.
Participate in major incident management and RCA activities.
Collaborate with application, database, and network teams for issue resolution.
Maintain SLA compliance for incidents and service requests.
Monitor middleware health and server performance.
Analyze logs and system metrics for proactive issue identification.
Perform performance tuning and capacity planning.
Recommend infrastructure improvements and optimization opportunities.
Participate in deployment and release activities.
Execute approved infrastructure and middleware changes.
Prepare implementation, validation, and rollback plans.
Support production releases during maintenance windows.
Implement security best practices and server hardening.
Support vulnerability remediation activities.
Manage access permissions and service accounts.
Ensure compliance with audit and organizational standards.
Develop PowerShell, Shell, or Python scripts for automation.
Create and maintain operational procedures, SOPs, and technical documentation.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
