Summary
The Window and Pressure Washing Drone Pilot is responsible for operating specialized aerial cleaning drones used for high-rise and commercial building maintenance. This role involves performing precision drone flights, conducting routine equipment checks, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant cleaning operations. The position requires technical proficiency with drone systems, strong attention to detail, and adherence to all safety and operational standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
•    Role involves site visits, equipment transport and setup of proper work areas/zones
•    Operate and maintain window-washing drones for commercial and residential buildings.
•    Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
•    Plan and execute flight paths in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols.
•    Monitor drone performance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
•    Maintain accurate logs of flight operations, maintenance, and cleaning schedules.
•    Collaborate with building managers and safety teams to coordinate cleaning operations.
•    Ensure compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
•    FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required within 30 days of being hired).
•    Strong understanding of FAA regulations and airspace requirements.
•    Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
•    Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
•    Customer Service & Interpersonal Skills: Communicates effectively and builds positive working relationships at all levels.
•    Organizational Skills: Plans and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred

Qualifications
•    Military veteran with UAV or aviation experience.
•    Experience in drone operation and maintenance.
•    Background in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning.
•    Interest in drone software and automated flight systems

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and transport drone equipment (up to 30 lbs).
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time
- Valid driver’s license and a clean record of transportation
- Ability to drive the company vehicle to client site (s)
- Reliable transportation is required to and from Goodwill HQ offices
