Winder Electrician (01) Vacancy

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain all wind and shaft equipment to reduce unplanned maintenance and optimize availability

• Overhaul winds and shaft equipment in accordance with set company policies and procedures

• Complete required testing and safety checks on winders and shaft equipment

• Attend to breakdowns and complete necessary fault finding

• Carry out defined and necessary checks on winders and shaft equipment

• Complete modifications to winders and shaft equipment in accordance with specified instructions.

• Under the direction of the supervisor, provide appropriate on-the-job training and coaching to less experienced personnel

• Ability to strong commitment to implement electrical policies and procedures, with the ability to foster a strong safety culture among electrical personnel.

• Ensure safe work practices by attending compulsory safety courses and meetings

• Assist and conduct incident/accident investigations

• Comply with Occupational Health and Environmental Policies, as well as other policies, procedures and guidelines

• Implementation and execution of all tasks and instructions as instructed by superiors

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• FTC certificate or Trade certificate in Electrical from a recognized training institution.

• Must possess a valid Tanzania Driving License Class D & E or C

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 Years’ experience as a Winder Electrician in mining or related industry. Underground mining experience is added as an advantage

• PLC Knowledge is an added advantage

• Excellent Troubleshooting skills

• Excellent Knowledge of Winder Drives, Safety Circuit system, and Troubleshooting.

• Thorough knowledge of winder operation and reticulation drawings, shaft operation and reticulation drawings, rock breaker operation, and load out operation.

• Computer literate in the Microsoft Package Applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio

• Communication, Fluent in written and verbal English & Swahili

• designed paste line and equipment plans, detailed engineered prints, and layouts
