Requirements

In this role, you will work closely with global clients across industries such as Semiconductors, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Consumer Goods, helping them design and implement robust PLM solutions. You will collaborate with industry leaders, participate in large-scale transformation programs, and contribute to delivering meaningful business value.

Work You Will Do

• 
  Work with client management teams to identify business challenges and derive meaningful insights.

• 
  Support the development of high-quality deliverables aligned with client needs and engagement objectives.

• 
  Participate in client interviews, workshops, meetings, and training sessions.

• 
  Provide ongoing support to project teams and client stakeholders throughout project execution.

• 
  Collaborate with senior practitioners to develop strategies addressing complex PLM and business transformation initiatives.

• 
  Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to clients and internal teams.

• 
  Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment.

Core Responsibilities (Windchill / PLM Focus)

Windchill Architecture & Development

• 
  Design and build complete end-to-end
  Windchill solutions
  aligned with industry best practices.

• 
  Develop, configure, and customize Windchill components including:

  • 
    Lifecycles

  • 
    Workflows

  • 
    Type and Attribute Manager

  • 
    Object Initialization Rules

  • 
    Localization

  • 
    Server-side customizations

  • 
    Info*Engine tasks, Webjects

  • 
    Custom reports, Cognos BI reporting

  • 
    Web services

  • 
    UI customization (JCA framework, MVC Builders, Wizards, etc.)

• 
  Lead the end-to-end design and development of customization requirements.

• 
  Ensure adherence to software development processes, including best-practice design, coding, testing, deployment, and patching.

Integrations & Enterprise Solutions

• 
  Develop and support
  Windchill integrations
  with:

  • 
    SAP

  • 
    CAD tools

  • 
    Visualization tools

  • 
    Other enterprise systems

• 
  Work on Windchill 12.x and 13.x functional & technical enhancements.

• 
  Review and validate PLM code/configurations, integration logic, installation scripts, deployment scripts, cron jobs, utilities, etc.

• 
  Provide architectural guidance and ensure solutions align with PLM (Windchill) roadmaps.

• 
  Assist in environment validations across DEV/QA/SIT/UAT/PROD phases.

Security, Cloud & Architecture

• 
  Support assessment, development, and optimization of security technologies, including:

  • 
    Data protection & encryption

  • 
    IAM (Identity & Access Management)

  • 
    Network security across SaaS, IaaS, PaaS

• 
  Contribute to cloud-based service-oriented architectures.

• 
  Develop reusable business solution assets and frameworks.

Required Experience

• 
  2–3 full lifecycle Windchill implementations
  .

• 
  Strong functional and technical experience with
  Windchill 12.X and 13.X
  .

• 
  Expertise in:

  • 
    Windchill Change Management

  • 
    Workflows

  • 
    BOM Management

  • 
    Business configuration

• 
  Good understanding of relevant domains:

  • 
    Semiconductor

  • 
    Automotive

  • 
    Manufacturing

  • 
    Consumer Goods

• 
  Experience in building business solution assets and reusable frameworks.

• 
  Ability to guide project teams in technical decision-making and ensure alignment with industry standards.

Technical Skill Set

• 
  Deep knowledge of
  Windchill architecture
  and customization.

  Strong programming skills in:

    Java / J2EE

  • 
    JavaScript, jQuery

  • 
    XML, JSP, AJAX

    SQL

  Experience with Cognos BI, Info*Engine, and JCA/MVC frameworks.

  Strong analytical thinking with the ability to assess end-to-end PLM processes.

Required Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor’s or Professional Degree (B.Tech/B.E) with First Class or Distinction.

• 
  MCA / M.Tech / MSc preferred.

• 
  Strong academic record.

• 
  Ability to travel

  Excellent oral and written communication skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, documentation).

  Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
