About The Site
Wind power generation facility located near to Guanambi/Caetité, Bahia.
As a Wind Specialist Technician, you will be responsible for the O&M routine leading the wind technicians in the wind farms.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and technical standards, guided by established guidelines and contributing to the safe execution of field activities.
Conduct safety inspections and proactively report any identified risks or non-conformities, following established procedures.
Actively participate in safety dialogues and record at least two monthly observations in Intelex, with support from the technical team.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance under supervision, according to received instructions.
Monitor and support commissioning and replacement processes of large components.
Maintain the organization of the work area and contribute to the continuous application of the 5S principles.
Accurately record the activities performed in forms or systems, as instructed.
Take care of the tools, PPE, and materials provided, ensuring their correct use.
Collaborate with more experienced technicians, seeking continuous learning and technical development.
Demonstrate collaborative behavior, respecting leadership and contributing to a positive work environment.
Assist in the integration of new employees, providing basic guidance under supervision.
Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wind turbine activities, performing/leading preventive and corrective maintenance.
Experience in performing uptower repairs and load handling.
Experience with replacing large components.
Proven experience in advanced troubleshooting, using software for correction – Focal point for the technical team.
Proven experience in leading teams and being a technical and management reference in the park.
Complete technical training in electrical, mechanical or related areas, with active registration with the CFT (Brazilian Federal Council of Technicians).
Engineering degree as a plus.
Good communication skills – Immediate replacement of the site leader.
Availability to work at heights, under adverse weather conditions and in high-pressure environments.
Valid National Driver's License (CNH) category B.
Ability to work in a team, follow instructions and demonstrate operational discipline.
Desired Skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with different wind turbine platforms.
Experience with commissioning or major corrective actions (desirable).
Basic English.
