
In particular, the successful candidate shall discharge the following activities:
Initiating - participate in the tendering / contracting process of the project and the designation of OE. Planning - secure Vena’s interests are satisfied in the planning of activities for TSA and BOP works.
Executing - secure that projects are implementing as per Vena’s requirements, facilitate issue resolution, lead the project team incl. OE through project changes.
Monitoring and Controlling – monitoring the progress of the project, managing the project’s budget, ensuring that key milestones are reached, compare actual performance against planned/scheduled performance.
Closing - work with Contractors to secure and document that the project delivery is complete, review the work of third-party vendors or partners to close their contracts, archive project files for future reference and use.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
Pre-requisites:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as PMP is an advantage).
Solid experience in tendering and contracting processes, including coordination with the Owner’s Engineer (OE) or similar stakeholders.
Strong background in project planning, with the ability to safeguard company interests in TSA and BOP works.
Proven track record in leading project execution, ensuring compliance with company requirements, resolving issues, and managing cross-functional teams through project changes.
Demonstrated expertise in monitoring project performance, managing budgets, and ensuring achievement of key milestones by comparing actual vs. planned progress.
Experience in project closeout activities, including contractor coordination, contract closure, and documentation/archiving of project files.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to perform other related tasks as needed and adapt to evolving project requirements.
