
ROLE TITLE: Wild National Account Manager – Tesco & Waitrose
REPORTS TO: Head of Retail (UK)

Wild is a premium, sustainability led Personal Care brand with a unique refillable product proposition, a fast growing Direct to Consumer business, and rapidly expanding retail presence across the UK and Europe. The Wild National Account Manager – Tesco & Waitrose will play a critical role in accelerating Wild’s retail growth. You will take full P&L ownership of some of Wild’s largest UK retail customers, driving distribution, visibility, and category expansion while ensuring Wild shows up in the most impactful way possible.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of UK retail, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment while leveraging Unilever’s capabilities where appropriate.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Full Business Ownership: Take full P&L responsibility for Tesco, Waitrose, and selected UK retail partners. Set the strategic direction, make investment decisions, and proactively unlock new growth opportunities, including expansion into new categories.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and manage strong relationships with national retailers. Establish cross functional contacts to ensure Wild is set up for success. Tailor strategic plans to each retailer’s priorities and long term vision.
Strategic Planning & Data Analytics: Develop and execute customer specific growth strategies aligned with Wild’s business goals. Analyse EPOS, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities. Lead promotional and pricing planning, ensuring internal alignment and strong ROI.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and product teams to deliver best in class execution. Support NPD launches, ensure supply availability, and proactively identify risks or roadblocks, driving solutions before issues arise.
Forecasting & Reporting: Own sales forecasting, prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, and track KPIs to monitor performance and inform decision making.
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide coaching and support to junior team members. Lead cross functional projects that contribute to overall brand success. Direct line management of one.
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
Proven experience in account management.
Proven track record managing and growing national accounts with major UK retailers
Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of retail P&L and category management.
Experience in contract negotiation and managing complex customer relationships.
Frequent user of EPOS data, forecasting systems, and commercial analytics.
Passion for sustainability and interest in eco friendly consumer products.
