Purpose andImpact:Amentum/Secure Networking Solutions is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level III to provide technical leadership for Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS) operations supportingAmentum’sSkywalkerprogram.The WIDS Specialist Level IIIis responsible foradministering the Bastille WIDS platform, leading Monitoring & Response (M&R) activities, analyzing wireless threats, and ensuring compliance with DoD andICrequirements.As such, theWIDS Specialist Level III willneeda strong understanding of the Bastille WIDS system, DoD/IC wireless protocols, RF theory, andcomprehensive knowledge of National and DoD directives, orders, regulations, and instructions governing the conduct of WIDS activities. Because each WIDS Specialist Level III will have a team ofdirect reports,experience managing geographically separated teams is expected.
Work Schedule:Monday – Friday,8 am-5 pm
EssentialResponsibilities:
Administer andmaintainthe Bastille WIDS platform in support of enterprise operations.
Lead M&Ractivities toidentify, investigate, and respond to wireless threats.
Analyze RF activity and unauthorized wireless signals.
Utilize wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment toidentify,locate, and report unauthorized devices.
Develop and maintain WIDS operating procedures, reporting templates, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve wireless security incidents.
Supervise and mentor WIDS personnel, including geographically dispersed teams.
Ensure WIDS operationscomply withapplicable DoD andICpolicies and procedures.
Support system deployments, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:Office Setting, but may berequiredto install sensors and wiring, which requires climbing ladders andlifting upto 20 lbs.
MinimumRequirements(Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Extensive knowledge of the Bastille WIDS platform and wireless intrusion detection operations.
Comprehensive understanding of wireless protocols, RFtheory, and wireless threat detection.
Experience conducting M&R activities and wireless incident analysis.
Knowledge of DoD and ICpolicies governing WIDS operations.
Experience leading technical teams and coordinating geographically dispersed personnel.
Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
Ability to travel worldwide.
SecurityClearance Required: TS/SCI with Poly
Minimum Education: Bachelor’sDegree
Minimum Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degree with 5years of experience;
Experience administering Bastille WIDS and supporting enterprise wireless security operations.
Compensation Details:
$152,000-$172,000
