Create your best future and join Westpac as a WIB Credit Officer – Consumer and Industrial
What’s the role?
You’ll play a key role in assessing and managing credit risk across a broad portfolio of Consumer and Industrial clients within Westpac Institutional Bank. Based in Sydney, this is a full‑time permanent opportunity where you’ll partner closely with relationship managers and risk teams to support sound lending decisions.
Day to day, you’ll review credit proposals, identify key risks, and make informed decisions within your delegated authority. You’ll build strong relationships across the business, offering clear guidance on risk and helping shape credit strategies. You’ll also monitor portfolio performance, identifying emerging risks early and supporting practical, balanced solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your credit judgement while contributing to a consistent and disciplined risk culture.
