Job Description
The role of the Wholesales Salesperson is to be responsible for driving sales and profitability, serving as the point of contact between business and existing and future clients.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies for our wholesale clients working towards specific goals and targets
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing wholesale clients. Contacting them to discuss their needs and being prepared to address these needs
- Identifying prospective clients by using business directories, following leads from existing clients etc.
- Negotiating prices, terms of sales and agreements
- Preparing and submitting sales orders for processing
- Following up with customers (follow up calls and visits) to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchases and answer any questions or concerns
- Preparing reports, analyzing sales statistics, sales results, status of accounts, and being prepared to provide insights and suggestions
- Engaging and collaborating with colleagues and multiple stakeholders in order to be able to emphasize product features
- Handling administrative duties such as filing expense accounts, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements; Performing other relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 5 years relevant experience working in a client facing role in a B2B sales environment preferably in the clothing industry
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor degree will be highly appreciated
- Advanced computer knowledge of Microsoft Suite is required; familiarity with Entersoft Business suite or other ERP
- Strong sales and negotiations skills and ability to balance customers’ and company needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients; Passion and enthusiasm for sales
- Self-motivated to achieve sales goals and meet deadlines, both personally and collectively as a team
- Ability to make quick and concise judgment calls with confidence to handle situations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and present a professional demeanor
