About the role:

As the Wholesale Junior Manager, you will lead the development and growth of the Wholesale business in the Brazilian market, playing a key role in strengthening partnerships and driving commercial performance across both online and offline channels.

Working closely with the F&B Manager and cross-functional teams, you will support business expansion, annual planning, and brand strategy execution, while ensuring excellence in day-to-day operations with wholesale partners.

You will act as the main point of contact for wholesale clients, overseeing all aspects of the relationship, from commercial negotiations and pricing to inventory management, after-sales, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with CHANEL’s standards and global vision.

Responsibilities:

Wholesale Management & Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, acting as the primary contact for all business-related matters.
  • Lead negotiations with new and existing retailers in alignment with brand strategy and company guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent communication between internal teams and wholesale partners.
  • Conduct regular visits to points of sale to monitor performance and brand execution.

Commercial Strategy & Pricing

  • Implement pricing strategies and communicate adjustments to wholesale partners in a timely manner.
  • Monitor market pricing and identify inconsistencies or opportunities.
  • Support product launches and ensure accurate product registration across platforms.

Financial & Operational Follow-up

  • Monitor payments and follow up on outstanding balances when necessary.
  • Track Advertising & Promotion Development (APD) investments and ensure proper documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between wholesale partners and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.

Inventory & Demand Planning

  • Oversee stock health across warehouses and retail partners.
  • Partner with wholesalers to ensure optimal product availability and replenishment.
  • Support forecasting and purchasing planning based on client needs and performance data.

Advertising & Promotion (APD)

  • Support the definition and execution of the annual advertising and promotion strategy in alignment with brand priorities.
  • Ensure excellence in the implementation of activations, animations, and in-store visibility.
  • Monitor APD budget and evaluate performance of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with VM and Trade teams to maintain high standards at points of sale.

After-Sales & Client Experience

  • Monitor customer service cases and ensure proper follow-up on returns and quality issues.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly reports related to after-sales activities.

Sales & Performance

  • Analyze sell-out reports and share insights with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales performance against forecasts and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead regular meetings with wholesale partners to align on strategy, campaigns, and product focus.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related fields preferred.
  • Experience in wholesale, ideally within the luxury beauty segment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and advanced English.
  • Solid understanding of retail, sales, and operational processes.
