Join Kiwibank’s Wholesale and International Operations and grow your career in settlements and international finance. A Wholesale and International Operations Specialist deliver a wide range of International and wholesale activity and plays an integral role within Enterprise Operations and the wider Kiwibank whanau. In this role you will:

• Process and manage International Payment Investigations, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Perform reconciliations of offshore accounts, maintaining accuracy and compliance with operational requirements.
• Establish, validate, and maintain payment instructions and supporting payment workflows.
• Conduct AML screening and compliance reviews in accordance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Process and monitor collateral obligation movements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed timelines.
• Manage customer onboarding for Foreign Currency Accounts and Term Investments within Financial Markets and Treasury, including account setup and due diligence requirements.
• Prepare and issue Bank Audit Certificates for Treasury customers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate in external audits, quality assurance reviews, and control testing activities, providing documentation and support to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, risk management, and customer outcomes.

• Previous experience working in banking operations, in a branch or contact centre for a bank or financial services firm.
• Strong numeracy and accounting capability.
• Previous International payment reconciliation or international banking experience.
• Knowledge of advanced Excel, data analysis and reporting.
• High attention to detail and analytic mindset.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement.
