Te kaupapa o te tūranga – About the role

Hours of work are:

  • Tuesday- Wednesday - 8:30am - 6:00pm
  • Thursday - 9:45am - 7:15pm
  • Friday - 8:45am - 6:15pm
  • Sunday - 8:30am - 5:30pm

As a Whiteware Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things kitchen appliances - specialising in cooktops, ovens, rangehoods, dishwashers, and more.

You’ll work in a hands-on, customer-focused sales environment, offering tailored advice and standout service across some of the world’s top whiteware brands. From in-store demos to detailed product advice, you’ll help customers bring their dream kitchens to life.

Whether it’s a first-home reno or a multi-appliance solution for a trade client, your role is all about building trust, delivering value, and showcasing the very best in kitchen tech.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Understanding customer needs and recommending tailored whiteware packages
  • Maintaining product knowledge across a wide range of kitchen appliances
  • Creating quotes, processing invoices, and supporting installations and aftercare
  • Liaising with suppliers and service agents to resolve customer queries
  • Bringing products to life through engaging, informative demonstrations
  • Presenting your department in a professional, welcoming way
  • Collaborating with your team to hit sales targets and create a great store vibe

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

Someone who is confident in a sales-driven environment and loves helping people find the perfect fit. Whether it’s one appliance or an entire kitchen setup, you know how to ask the right questions and offer smart, high-quality solutions.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Enjoy connecting with customers, building trust, and closing sales
  • Are passionate about quality products, great service, and staying current on kitchen tech
  • Love setting (and smashing) sales goals

Previous experience with appliances or whiteware is a bonus, but not essential - we’ll provide full training if you’ve got the right attitude.
