About the Job:

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wharf Executive to manage all import and export wharf operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with our brand values. The ideal candidate will oversee customs clearance processes and contribute to the smooth handling of shipments at the wharf.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily import and export wharf operations effectively.
• Ensure timely and accurate customs clearance of goods.
• Coordinate with port authorities, shipping lines, and internal teams to streamline operations.
• Oversee compliance with customs and import/export regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all shipments.
• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
• Assist in resolving any issues or delays in cargo handling or customs clearance.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support operational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in wharf operations and customs clearance.
• Holder of a valid Customs House Agent (CHA) license.
• Strong knowledge of Customs, BOI, SLSI, AEI, Food, and Import/Export control regulations.
• Proficient in HS Code classification
• Familiarity with ASYCUDA and Genesoft
  systems (advantageous).
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends if required.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
