The Department of Health and Human Services is hiring a part-time, 10-20 hour per week, West Central Public Health Partnership (WCPHP) Capacity Coordinator. This position promotes public health services in the region through capacity-building coordination to facilitate the Regional Public Health Improvement Plan and West Central Public Health Partnership directives.

This position is currently supported by grant funding, which allows us to advance the county's strategic initiatives. Employment beyond the current grant period is dependent on funding availability.

Pay Rate

Hourly range from $30.25 to $34.43 depending on experience, plus partial benefits.

This position is 15 hours per week.

*The County pays monthly on the last week day of the month.*

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the field of public health, social work or related field. Extensive related work experience may substitute for formal degree. Preference will be given to applicants with project management experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. Master’s Degree in Public Health preferred. Two years of experience in health and human services or related field is preferred. Experience working with diverse ethnic and economic communities is required.
