WES Health Chicago-Part-Time Clinician will provide clinical direction, therapy and complete comprehensive assessments of the consumers.
Provide individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy.
Using the strengths-based approach identify problems and design an ITP with appropriate and reasonable goals.
Submit monthly reports summarizing program status and outcomes.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
TThe Clinician will provide individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy as well as development and revision of the ITP and assistance with crisis stabilization and assistance with addressing problems the consumer has encountered.
Experience working with children and families providing individual, group and family therapy.
License preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field, experience with individual, group and family therapy. Certifications in Evidence Based Treatment Modalities a plus.
WES Health System was founded in July 1992 as a successor of previous organizations that were committed to providing behavioral health care since the mid-1970s. This successor organization was officially named Dr. Warren E. Smith Health Centers (WES) in 1994. WES Health System and its subsidiary companies were named after Dr. Warren E. Smith, a prominent African American psychiatrist who was committed to providing quality behavioral health care to the under-served. Beginning his career in 1954, Dr. Warren E. Smith was one of the first African American psychiatrists; he was revered as a highly principled man who was deeply sensitive to the problems of minorities living in the Philadelphia area.
