***This is a part-time (20 hours/week, Tues-Thurs), day shift position. Must be a registered and licensed dietician***

This position is responsible for providing wellness services to contracted companies for the Employer Solutions division. Contract requires consultant to also be a Registered Dietitian in the state of Ohio.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree
- LIC - Licensed Dietician with the State of Ohio
- RD - Registered Dietitian
- Field of Study: Health, related field
- Years of experience: 1

- Health coach certification, Healthy lifestyle program design and execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Functions as wellness consultant for companies contracted with OhioHealth Employer Solutions. Duties as a wellness consultant may include - Wellness program design and planning Delivering onsite health education/presentations Launching wellness challenges and healthy lifestyle programming Assisting in coordination of wellness committees Liaising with Employer Solutions account manager to recommend additional programs and services to the client. Provides biometric results with interpretation and counseling for healthy lifestyle improvements. Provides resources such as, Primary Care Physician referral information and condition specific education, to participants as appropriate. Serves as a wellness coach to individuals and groups Works with team to ensure smooth functioning of employer events. Participates in yearly Trainings/Certifications/competencies as appropriate. Any new service training and competency Health Coaching certification Appropriate professional licensure. Duties as a wellness coordinator may include: Wellness program design and planning Delivering onsite health education/presentations Launching wellness challenges and healthy lifestyle programming Assisting in coordination of wellness committees Liaising with Employer Services account manager to recommend additional programs and services to the client Provides biometric testing to employer screenings participants. Screenings can include: o Cholesterol/Glucose/AC 1 Screenings/Cotinine Screenings o Blood pressure checks Heights Weights Waist Measurements Body Mass Index calculations Body Fat Percentage calculations Other health related screenings Provides biometric results with interpretation and counseling for healthy lifestyle improvements. Provides resources such as, Primary Care Physician referral information and condition specific education, to participants as appropriate. Serves as a wellness coach to individuals and groups Works with team to ensure smooth functioning of employer events. May act as team lead/primary event contact person, when indicated. Uses online scheduling tool, to sign up for employer events. Maintains knowledge and use of the online scheduling tool. Participates in yearly Trainings/Certifications/competencies as appropriate. This may include. PTS Cardio Check/A1c Now & Cotinine competency Blood pressure competency Any new service training and competency Health Coaching certification Appropriate professional licensure The major duties, responsibilities and listed above are not intended to be all-inclusive of the duties, responsibilities and to be performed by employees in this job.
