About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Wellness Coach (Lifestyle Therapist / Nutritionist) to deliver personalized lifestyle coaching and nutrition advisory services within a premium hospitality environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping members achieve optimal health through evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle modification, stress management, sleep optimization, and sustainable behavior change.

Working collaboratively with physicians, physiotherapists, fitness professionals, and other wellness specialists, the Wellness Coach will develop and oversee individualized wellness programmes that improve overall health, performance, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness consultations for new and existing members.
• Develop personalized nutrition, wellness, and lifestyle plans based on individual health goals, diagnostic assessments, and clinical recommendations.
• Interpret body composition analysis, fitness assessments, and other wellness diagnostics to create practical health improvement strategies.
• Provide one-on-one coaching sessions focused on sustainable behavior change, healthy eating, weight management, stress reduction, sleep optimization, and overall wellbeing.
• Monitor member progress through scheduled follow-up consultations, quarterly reviews, and measurable health outcomes.
• Adjust wellness programmes based on client progress, feedback, and updated health assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, personal trainers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated wellness solutions.
• Educate members on nutrition, healthy lifestyle practices, disease prevention, exercise, recovery, and long-term health optimization.
• Develop and facilitate wellness workshops, seminars, corporate health talks, and educational programmes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records, coaching notes, and progress reports using digital health management systems.
• Stay updated on current research and best practices in nutrition, wellness, preventive healthcare, and lifestyle medicine.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of wellness programmes, member engagement initiatives, and premium health services.
• Promote a culture of healthy living and inspire members to achieve lasting lifestyle transformation.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Human Nutrition, Food Science, Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4–6 years' experience in nutrition, dietetics, health coaching, wellness consulting, or lifestyle management.
• Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN), Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RDN), or membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
• Professional certification in Health Coaching, Lifestyle Medicine, Wellness Coaching, Behaviour Change, or related disciplines is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition therapy, preventive healthcare, weight management, chronic disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle interventions.
• Proven ability to coach clients toward sustainable behaviour change and long-term health improvement.
• Experience interpreting health assessments such as body composition analysis, metabolic testing, and wellness screening results.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, counselling, and motivational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, coaching platforms, wellness tracking software, and electronic client management systems.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Must reside in Abuja or be willing to relocate.
