TITLE: Wellness Coach
REPORTS TO: The Principal
JOB GOAL: To achieve county objectives working cooperatively with teachers, and administrators to achieve county wellness goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Lead the school's wellness council and work with Principal to communicate with parents and develop and organize Wellness events/activities.
• Organize and conduct school level Wellness meetings on regular basis with minutes documented.
• Document all Wellness activities at the school and turn into Child Nutrition Director on form provided.
• Attend any County Wellness Council meetings.
• Foster a sense of Wellness and promote healthy school based activities to educate each school community.
• Evaluate annually (in collaboration with Principal) whether school is following county Wellness Policy via survey provided by Child Nutrition Director.
Stipend: $150.00 per year to be paid at conclusion of school year, if duties listed above are fulfilled
