Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead tubing inspection operations at well sites during pulling and workover activities
- Operate WellChek II and related inspection equipment according to industry standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety, DOT, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with rig personnel and customer representatives
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
Job Duties
- Perform tubing inspections in accordance with API standards and customer specifications
- Safely operate and transport mobile inspection units as a DOT-qualified driver
- Follow all DOT hours-of-service requirements and maintain driving logs
- Complete and maintain required technical certifications and training
- Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of inspection equipment at job sites
- Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and 24/7 operations as needed
- Support additional inspection and field service tasks as part of ongoing training and development
- Lead and support crew members to ensure safe and efficient job execution
Education and Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must qualify as a DOT driver
- Ability to obtain and maintain industry certifications, including:
- Radiation Safety
- Electromagnetic Inspection (EMI / MFLT)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UTTG)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours and weekends
- Physical ability to perform field work in outdoor environments
- Previous oilfield, inspection, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required
