Lighthouse Women’s Aid are seeking a Welfare Worker to join the team, working at our busy refuge you will be passionate about supporting women and children who have fled domestic abuse.
You will have excellent communication and listening skills, alongside a desire to empower women to rebuild their confidence and resilience.
As a valued member of our team, you will support women in recognising and understanding the abuse they have experienced, while offering practical guidance to help them take their next steps. This includes assistance with accessing benefits, securing housing, navigating healthcare, and supporting their children.
Knowledge of Microsoft office programs with experience in word, outlook, excel spreadsheets and databases is essential
