We are looking for a passionate, creative, and highly organized Welfare & HR Programs Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will lead welfare initiatives, employee engagement activities, and site-level HR programs across Papaya’s Israel site. You will play a key role in creating a positive employee experience while supporting the successful implementation of HR initiatives, programs, and projects at the local level.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong execution capabilities with creativity, ownership, and a passion for bringing people together.

Key Responsibilities

Welfare & Employee Engagement

  • Lead and execute welfare initiatives, company events, wellbeing activities, and programs throughout the year.
  • Plan and coordinate holidays, celebrations, happy hours, team-building activities, and special company moments.
  • Oversee employee gifting and recognition initiatives, including holidays, birthdays, life events, and other employee-focused programs.
  • Support employee onboarding experience, including welcome kits, first-day experience, and site integration activities.
  • Help foster a connected, engaging, and positive workplace environment.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve employee wellbeing, office life, and employee engagement.

HR Programs & Projects

  • Lead and coordinate site-level HR programs and initiatives across the Israel site.
  • Support the local implementation of global HR initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and execution.
  • Partner with HR, managers, and cross-functional teams to execute employee-focused projects and programs.
  • Drive projects from planning through execution while ensuring high-quality delivery and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support organizational initiatives and special projects that strengthen the employee experience and workplace culture.

Operations & Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Manage budgets, logistics, procurement processes, and operational aspects of welfare initiatives and site programs.
  • Coordinate operational aspects of employee engagement activities and HR projects.
  • Ensure smooth execution of activities while maintaining strong attention to detail and operational excellen

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in Welfare, Employee Engagement, HR Programs, Operations, Project Management, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot) and building AI-powered workflows and agents to enhance productivity, creativity, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong project management and execution capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to turn ideas into impactful employee initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and external partners.
  • High ownership, proactive approach, and strong execution mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in Hebrew and English.
