EJ has an immediate opening for a Welding Intern on our First shift (Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM), salary - $20.55 per hour.

Welding internship goals focus on applying classroom theory to industrial settings, mastering specific processes (GMAW, SMAW), and ensuring safety compliance while developing technical, communication, and teamwork skills. Key objectives include gaining hands-on welding experience, reading blueprints, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting quality control to prepare for a professional welding career. As a welding Intern at EJ, you will get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience welding metal components together with a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as hand box frames and covers, beams, grating and other miscellaneous products by performing the following duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School senior pursuing a welding certification from an accredited institution.
