Maysville Community & Technical College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 10- month term contract position at the Montgomery Campus for a: Welding Instructor.
Job Duties:
Overall responsible for the classroom management including;
· Demonstrate and promote/instruct all customary safety practices in the field of welding
· Classroom supervision and instruction on a project to project basis
· Laboratory preparation
· Customized curriculum development and delivery
· Able to demonstrate/instruct stick, MIG and TIG welding processes
· Able to instruct acetylene/oxy-fuel cutting torch processes
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree in Applied Science and four years’ experience in the field and/or approval from Academic Dean.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hold and maintain an AWS CWI certification, experience/proficient in blueprint reading & fabrication instruction. Have the ability to navigate MS Office, specifically Word, Outlook and some Excel on a PC platform.
