As a Labourer/Welders helper, you’ll be a key player in our pipeline repair operations. You’ll assist in the manufacturing shop and installation of our specialty product PETROSLEEVE across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist Welders with daily tasks
  • Load, unload, and lift equipment, supplies, and product
  • Engage in all forms of labour to assist in the successful completion of fabrication, construction, and installation projects from start to finish
  • Cleaning and organizing the shop and yard
  • May perform other related duties as assigned

Experience

  • High school diploma/GED required; Vocational Certification preferred.
  • Experience in energy or oil gas, pipeline, or fabrication an asset

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with the safe application of small power and hand tools such as drills, grinders, etc.
  • Ability to understand and execute the proper use of lifting equipment, such as cranes to move tools within shop area.
  • Willing to travel extensively.
  • CSTS 09, First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space tickets an asset
  • Class 5 Drivers License (Non-GDL) is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English.
