Superintendent – Industrial Piping

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Superintendent – Industrial Piping to oversee piping construction activities on industrial projects nationwide. This leadership role is responsible for planning and managing field labor to ensure safe, high-quality installation in accordance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field crews for industrial piping construction and maintenance

• Oversee installation of carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation

• Manage labor productivity, quality, and schedule adherence

• Serve as a senior technical resource for complex construction and startup challenges

• Coordinate materials, rigging activities, and equipment positioning

• Communicate with general contractors, plant personnel, and project teams

• Enforce safety policies and support incident investigations

• Maintain accurate timekeeping and crew documentation

• Mentor and develop field personnel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Extensive experience in industrial piping construction and supervision

• Strong knowledge of piping methods, tools, and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills

• General computer proficiency

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work from scaffolding/lifts, drive a company vehicle, and travel between job sites.
