Twin Eagles by Dometic is looking to add a Welder to its growing team! This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor. The Welder I lays out, fits and welds fabricated stainless steel components by TIG or MIG welding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primarily performs TIG welds on relatively thin (from 20 to 14 gauge thick) stainless sheet metal parts.
• Proficient with using different thickness filler rods for TIG welding.
• Other types of welding may be required.
• Ability to use jigs and/or fixtures as required.
• Familiar with setting up welder.
• Maintains and troubleshoot welder.
• Fallows safety guidelines.
• Knowledge to start with blueprints and built components from start to finish.
• Ensure that all welds meet quality assurance standards.
• Proficient on welding stainless steel brackets.
• Proficient on welding stainless steel handles.
• Proficient on welding stainless steel side shelfs.
• Proficient on welding smoker boxes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Sheet metal welding experience required

• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)
• Experience in welding stainless steel (20 gauge)
• Experience in using hand tools (saws, mallets, calipers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
