Five & Fly is a veteran-owned professional services firm that specializes in providing exceptional solutions to enhance the end-to-end transition of active duty service members, national guardsmen, reservists and veterans into civilian careers. We are instrumental in helping businesses recruit, hire, onboard, and retain these individuals in such a way that they find long-term fulfillment and generate exponential value for their employers in their civilian careers.
We do so primarily through the DOD SkillBridge Program, which provides opportunities for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. Companies can experience two (2) to six (6) months of no-cost work from the service member, while the service member receives compensation and benefits from the DOD.
By partnering with mission-driven organizations to provide meaningful opportunities, Five & Fly aims to prevent veteran suicide in the five years following military separation by empowering veterans to find fulfillment in their civilian careers. We serve service members and their civilian employers with intentionality, unconventionality, and longevity in mind.
