Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Belfast
Salary: £16 to £17 per hour

Our client is a well-established, family-owned mechanical engineering business with over 20 years of industry experience. Operating across multiple specialist divisions, the company delivers high-quality HVAC installations and maintenance services across a range of commercial environments, including offices, schools, hospitals, and hotels.

Due to continued growth and increased workload within their in-house fabrication department, our client is now looking to recruit a skilled Welder / Fabricator

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, well-equipped fabrication workshop. The role will involve working primarily with stainless steel, producing high-quality components such as ventilation systems and canopies for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and confident working from drawings to deliver precision fabrication work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate stainless steel components to a high standard
• Manufacture items such as ventilation ducting, canopies, and bespoke metalwork
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials in line with project requirements
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Work independently and as part of a fabrication team

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Welder / Fabricator
• Experience working with stainless steel
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
• MIG/TIG welding experience preferred

Working Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00am to 4:00pm
• Friday- 7:00am to 1:00pm
• Early finish on Fridays
