Welder – A-1 Balers (Waste Pro) - West Palm Beach, FL

Pay: $22.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Repair and maintain front-load, rear-load, and roll-off containers.
• Perform MIG and Stick (SMAW) welding on steel and aluminum components.
• Cut, fit, fabricate, and weld heavy steel components.
• Repair container floors, rails, bodies, packing blades, doors, and structural components.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, torches, shears, and press brakes.
• Install and replace lids, wheels, hinges, and other container hardware.
• Prepare, prime, and paint repaired equipment.
• Read work orders and complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

What We're Looking For

• Fabrication and repair experience with heavy steel
• Ability to use plasma cutters, torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools
• Experience working on heavy equipment, trailers, containers, trucks, or industrial machinery is a plus
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments
• Dependable, safety-focused, and committed to quality workmanship

Working Conditions

This position involves working in both shop and outdoor environments. Employees should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and around heavy equipment, welding fumes, noise, dust, grease, and vibration. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the workday.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• One year welding experience.
• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
• Valid driver license

Physical Requirements (but not limited to)

• Push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 50 pounds, climbing ladder, and overhead reaching.
• Walking, Jogging, Twisting, Crouching, Lifting
• Sufficient stamina for steady work pace throughout the day
• Able to utilize all Personal Protective Equipment as mandated by company.

Qualifications
