Welder

Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced Welder to join our team. In this role, you'll weld and cut metal parts, mainly using MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding. Most of the work involves thin-gauge aluminum, so experience with aluminum welding is important.

What You'll Do

• Read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Weld metal parts using MIG and TIG.
• Cut metal using a plasma cutter or oxy-fuel torch.
• Weld in different positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead).
• Set up and secure parts before welding.
• Choose the correct welding settings and filler materials.
• Grind, clean, and inspect finished welds.
• Measure parts and check weld quality using gauges.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and hoists when needed.
• Keep your work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other welding-related tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Strong experience welding aluminum.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to pass welding tests and a pulmonary function test.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
