What Drives Success

The primary function of the Welder position is to weld metal components accurately to specifications and tolerances.

Job Duties:

Perform other duties as assigned.

Must follow instruction from Lead(s) Supervisor(s) Manager(s).

Torch cutting (with multi fuels when needed).Grinding, sanding, and deburring of assorted types of metals and materials.

Mig Welding (when needed with supervision).

Bench Assembly –Assembling products together per company standards.

Must be willing to work within multiple departments and run multiple machines when asked.

Communicate verbally and or written of any issues that arise.

Safely operate machines while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Use of assorted metal cutting saws and electric handheld and manual hand tools.

Inventory restocking and inventory control when needed.

What We Are Looking For

Additional Requirements

  • Tape measure reading
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be flexible on daily work schedule and OT/weekends as needed
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate a manual/electric hand truck in and between multiple departments.

Education – Essential

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience - (Discuss type and depth of experience)

  • Minimum of 1 year experience reading a tape measure.
  • Must pass tape measure exam
  • Manufacturing experience (preferred)

Physical Requirements – Essential

  • Must be in good physical condition
  • Must be able to stand/sit in one place up to 2 hours at a time
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and move around for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lean over worktable(s) for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lift push and pull up to 50lbs – any more than this requires assistance
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $20.00-$25.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 10 days paid time off, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
