GHX, a SunSource company is the leader in providing solutions to static sealing (gaskets) and fluid transfer (hoses) with top quality fabrication, capabilities and programs tailored to help out customers in reducing downtime and increasing throughput. With 51 locations across North America, we inventory a wide range of gasket materials, hoses, fittings, textiles, and expansion joints. GHX is able to cover a broad spectrum of applications for the industries we serve.

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Welder. The candidate will use various tools and/or machines to weld, seal and attach metal hose or fit pipe. Will assist in all areas of the shop including fabrication of hoses and related product. May perform other duties.

Specifically you must be able to:

• Reads and interprets blueprints and work orders.
• Verifies orders for correct quantity and hose length and type.
• Independently use and operate all required machines and or tools.
• Have knowledge of ISO and ASME requirements.
• Able to make decisions in absence of supervisor.
• Participate in lean activity and safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

The qualified individual will have the following education and other skills:

• High school or equivalent (GED) required.
• Industrial TIG welding experience required.
• Must be able to use a tape measure and understand basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
