Job Description

American Concrete Products is a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable welder to join our team. The welder will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forms, machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth operations and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Operation of MIG and Stick welding machines
• Perform preventive maintenance on forms, machinery, and equipment
• Detect and diagnose issues using testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Order and replace parts as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting equipment.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED w/ 1-2 years of related welding experience is required
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and technical specifications
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Some experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems a plus
