Job Description

This role will be the responsible in minor and major repair of container vans (20ftr and 40ftr) providing his technical skills and specializations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lays out, positions align, cuts and fits components together for welding and painting
• Bolts, clamps, tack-welds, or otherwise fastens parts to secure in position for welding and/or repairing
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using appropriate welding equipment.
• Assists with general repair duties as required
• Works with installing and removing plywood flooring
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Refer more complex repairs to the Supervisor
• Follows all safety policies and procedures

• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate

Qualifications:

• At least high school graduate/diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of technical experience in container van repairs (20ftr and 40ftr)
• NCII certification is an advantage
