Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity for an Afternoon Shift Weighbridge Operator to join us at our Drury Quarry. You will be the first point of contact at the Quarry and interact face to face with our wide range of clients and customers.
About the role
The successful person will manage and operate the weighbridge system and greet customers and visitors coming into the quarry. You will use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with
our customers.
This is a Monday – Friday 1:00pm – 10:00pm position. Night shift allowance will apply to this role from 6:00pm.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Accurately operate weighbridge and associated systems.
Ensuring systems are up to date and being accurately followed.
Receiving visitors to the quarry.
Data entry and document control.
Answering the phone and dealing with queries or forwarding to relevant person.
Eftpos transactions, purchase orders/Invoice processing
Weighbridge docket enquiries/Docket reconciliations/fix ups
About you
The successful person will be someone that can operate the weighbridge efficiently as required. You will have proven experience working autonomously and can self-manage day to day tasks and problem solve in any arising situation.
Experience and attributes;
Full class 1 licence
Experience working within administration and/or weighbridge duties is advantageous
Be a team player.
Have a strong customer focus.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Be self-motivated & driven to succeed.
