Job Description

Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations in across Australia. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and professional Weighbridge Operator to join our Byford Quarry team.

This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday with regular weekend work (some Saturday work required), RDO's and overtime.

Will train the right candidate. In your new role with us, you will:

  • Operate weighbridge
  • Provide high level customer service to our valued customer base
  • Support a range of ad hoc admin requests for the site
  • Delivery scheduling and truck allocation

This role is a great fit for you if you:

  • Have high attention to detail in work output
  • Have the ability to multi-task and good time management skills
  • Are a team player and hold a high regard for safety policies and procedures
  • Enjoy contributing to a productive team environment to achieve results
  • Have a background in Freight, Allocation or Logistics (ideal but not essential)
  • Experience in SAP would be advantageous
  • Computer skills & experience necessary
  • Strong communication skills

  • Monday to Friday 6:30am - 5:00pm
  • When required-Saturday mornings 6:30am -midday
