Job Description

So, you’re a proactive people person who enjoys sales and are passionate about retail and offering the best customer service? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. So, if you’ve ever considered a career in optics, this Trainee Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.

As a Trainee Optical Assistant, you don’t need to have previous optics experience, you just need to enjoy sales, be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, and make sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.

Our team

Training provided by a friendly and knowledgable team with exciting progression opportunities - Cert 3, Cert 4 (BTech equivalents) and Dispensing Optician qualifications are all available for the right candidate!

  • Weekend hours only - 16 hours a week (Can consider full time hours if you have previous optical experience)

  • Able to receive feedback and be open to development, knowing we’ll be there to support and guide you throughout your process (with your openness and our guidance, your opportunities will be endless).
