Job Description

Are you a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety and security? Join our team as a Professional Security Officer and play a critical role in safeguarding people, property, and assets.

We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing a secure environment for our clients.

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

We are looking for hire multiple individuals for a variety of sites needing part time, weekend coverage.

Pay: $20-24/hr depending on site

Location: Middlesex County

Shift: Saturday & Sunday 11pm-7am or Saturday & Sunday 3pm-11pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to client facilities.
  • Perform regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of assigned areas.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical, fire, and other incidents.
  • Enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit detailed incident and daily activity reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and emergency personnel.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
  • Conduct inspections and maintain equipment as required.
  • Assist in risk assessments and proactive measures to enhance security.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time
  • Moderate level of computer knowledge needed
  • Comfortable greeting and talking to new people
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements prior to starting
