Secretary - Part Time Weekends

Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is seeking a warm and personable Secretary to join our team on weekends. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work but also finds fulfillment in building relationships and brightening the day of others.

As the first point of contact for family members, visitors, and residents, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our community. In addition to traditional reception and clerical responsibilities, this position offers opportunities to interact with residents living with dementia and assist with resident engagement as needed.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Answering incoming telephone calls and directing calls appropriately
• Greeting visitors, family members, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
• Assisting with visitor access and front desk operations
• Interacting with residents in a warm, respectful, and engaging manner
• Supporting resident activities and engagement opportunities as needed
• Helping create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for residents, families, and staff

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 years of reception or customer facing position preferred
• Experience working with older adults preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• An outgoing, patient, and compassionate personality
• A genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others

Pay Range: $17.25 - $22.99

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
