Horsham Center for Jewish Life of North Wales, PA is looking for new and experienced Weekend Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our team!

Charge Nurse Openings

Shifts: Saturdays and/or Sundays 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am

Responsibilities:

• Admit, transfer and discharge patients/residents.
• Daily documentation of assessments and care plans, MAR and TAR
• Assumes responsibilities as Charge Nurse of the assigned Unit
• Monitor patients/residents, notifying patient, family, physician and facility staff of any significant CIC and ensure nursing care provided conform to plan of care and all policies and procedures. Prepare and administer medications via PO, g tubes, IV (if certified), SC, IM as ordered by physician. Ensure narcotics records are accurate for assigned shift.
• Properly return/dispose of discontinued medications.
• Communicate effectively with physicians on orders and transcribe orders in EHR. Notify pharmacy of new/change of orders.
• Report any of these occurrences to their Unit Managers/Supervisors

Requirements:

• Must have a Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a nursing team
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
