Compensation & Shift Structure:
Kennel Technicians at Tailchasers have the rewarding responsibility of caring for all pets within our facility (dogs, cats, and birds). This role involves sanitation of pet lodging areas, feeding, medicating, and providing spa services such as baths, nails, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. Additionally, you'll oversee play sessions and assist with basic dog training commands like sit, stay, and wait. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling dogs of various sizes on leashes, standing for the entirety of their shift, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Tailchasers offers dog walking, pet sitting, dog training, boarding, daycare, and grooming. Tailchasers has been in business since March of 2004. Our employees are bonded, insured, background checked, and certified in pet first aid. Many pet sitting companies use independent contractors, but Tailchasers’ dog walkers are all employees to protect you from liability and ensure that the highest standards of care of being followed. Our dog walkers all use a check in system with GPS tracking, so you get real time emails with the notes from your pet sitter to verify all visits are completed on time with a map of your dog’s walk. Tailchasers Pet Care offers the reliability of an online scheduling system, so you can update your pet’s care information or add dog walks whenever it is convenient for you. You can also use Tailchasers for last minute walks when you need to stay at work late. Our dog walkers are available from 7am until 9pm 365 days per year, and we also offer boarding, daycare, training, and grooming at our Barrington Pet Resort. We are a local family owned business and recommended by veterinarians.
