Job Description

Corin Group is a global orthopaedics innovation business, which is head quartered in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Across 8 units in Love Lane, we manufacture knee and hip implants that are then shipped around the world to provide patients the best possible outcomes! Corin is launching an exciting new service and we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our brand new team! If you’re looking for a role that offers a fantastic work-life balance, this could be the perfect opportunity. You'll work weekend shifts only – Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 5:30am – 6:30pm – giving you Monday to Thursday completely free every week!
To set you up for success, you'll receive comprehensive training during the week, tailored to your experience and learning pace. Training will be on Mondays to Fridays and can last from 2 to 12 weeks. We can be flexible to fit around you and offer an initial day shift, rotating earlies and lates shifts or just earlies or lates. Plus, you'll benefit from a salary of £25,300.00 plus shift allowance starting from 25%, rewarding you from day one.
We are looking for Quality Inspectors who will read technical drawings (full training will be provided) and have the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail. We are looking for progressive learners and the ability to work well under pressure.
Permanent Shift Pattern: (after training is complete)
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 5:30am - 6:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
Training Shift Patterns available:
• Earlies - 5.30am - 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, 5:30am - 11:00am on Friday
• Lates - 1:45pm - 10:15pm Monday to Thursday, 10:45am - 4:15pm on Friday
• Days - 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm on Friday
The ideal Quality Inspector will have/be:
• An excellent level of attention to detail.
• A minimal education background of GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Previous work experience in either a manufacturing, automotive, aerospace or highly regulated environment would be desirable, but not essential.
• An eagerness and willingness to learn new tasks that involve general inspection, measurement, and associated activities (eg - reading engineering drawings).
• A detail-orientated approach and the ability to make informed decisions based on the quality of the product.
