Weekend Cleanup

Lumby, British Columbia


Our Weekend Cleanupemployees keep our business running smoothly. They make sure the production and trades teams have a clean environment to work in, which is essential for a safe and efficient workplace. We have a perfect opportunity for full-time students or individuals who want to work on Saturdays and Sundays to make some extra income.

We’re looking for a Weekend Cleanup employeeto join our mill located in Lumby, British Columbia Our White Valley Division produces the veneer used at our Armstrong Plywood facility. White Valley safely and sustainably produces 225,000 million square feet of veneer every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Commitment to working safely
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to worka variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be a studentenrolled in full time study.
  • Ability to work independentlywith little supervision.
  • Must be 18 years or olderdue to employment standards legislation.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.

  • Do general clean upthroughout the mill.
  • Supportour tradespersons to ensure hot workis carried out safely.
