The ICRC’s Weapon Contamination Unit is looking for a Weapon Contamination Field Officer to be based in Taunggyi office with short term contract. Under the supervision of Head of Sub-Delegation, the Weapon Contamination Field Officer (WeC FO) identifies these risks, analyzes exposure patterns, and implements measures to reduce their impact on civilians and aid efforts. In addition to ensuring WeC program objectives are met, the role supports security assessments, explores new project needs, and promotes relevant International Humanitarian Law (IHL) instruments.
