Job Description

Are you ready to create content that supports a mission that matters?

At Leidos, we deliver innovative solutions through the efforts of our diverse and talented people who are dedicated to our customers’ success. Guided by our Mission, Vision, and Values, we empower our teams, support our communities, and remain committed to doing the right thing—always.

We are seeking a Website & Multimedia Content Developer to support U.S. Navy training initiatives for the AN/SQQ-89 A(V)15 system under Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building engaging websites and producing high-quality video and digital content in support of technical training.

Join a small, highly specialized team committed to a “can’t fail” mission.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain training-focused websites and digital content to support Navy sonar training programs.
  • Produce and edit micro-learning videos, including graphics, audio, and motion elements, for multiple Acoustic Capability Build (ACB) variants.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to translate technical content into clear, engaging web and video learning experiences.
  • Support content publishing and updates within learning platforms (e.g., Moodle or similar systems).
  • Assist with reviewing storyboards, preparing media assets, and packaging/testing final deliverables.
  • Perform light site and content administration tasks (e.g., posting updates, organizing content), not enterprise IT administration.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education

  • High School diploma with 1–3 years of relevant experience in website development, multimedia production, or digital content creation.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
  • Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Audition and Media Encoder
  • Experience developing or maintaining websites (HTML/CSS familiarity required; content-focused rather than backend engineering).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • Must hold, or be able to obtain, a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, if required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience creating content for training or learning environments (e-learning, micro-learning, or instructional media).
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint for content publishing, site configuration, page editing, or document management is a plus
  • Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript or other web scripting languages.
  • Experience working with Moodle or other learning management systems.
  • Prior exposure to U.S. Navy programs or sonar systems is a plus, but not required.

Why This Role Is Different

This position is not an IT or SharePoint administrator role. It is best suited for candidates with a passion for:

  • Website design and content development
  • Video editing and multimedia storytelling
  • Supporting training and mission-critical learning through creative digital solutions
