Reporting to the Director of Physician Organization Marketing, the Website Marketing Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of digital marketing initiatives focused on driving traffic, engagement, and patient conversion through Weill Cornell Medicine’s patient care website. This role requires a blend of marketing acumen, technical proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the website serves as a high-performing digital front door for patient acquisition and retention.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic vision and execution of enterprise-level website marketing initiatives to drive patient acquisition, engagement, and measurable revenue growth, positioning the site as a premier digital front door for health care services.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration with IT, design, clinical depts, and marketing stakeholders to ensure digital initiatives align with institutional goals and deliver a seamless, patient-centric experience.
  • Manage and maintain website content using Drupal, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and accessibility standards.
  • Integrate website efforts with broader digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, and paid media.
  • Architect and implement advanced digital content strategies, ensuring website assets are optimized for discoverability, accessibility, and performance across search engines and AI-powered platforms (ChatGPT, Bing Copilot, Google SGE).
  • Oversee the integration of AI-optimized content frameworks, semantic structuring, schema markup, and metadata enrichment, to enhance visibility and relevance in generative AI outputs and conversational search.
  • Establish and manage a robust analytics ecosystem to identify opportunities for optimization and use analytics tools to monitor user behavior and engagement from AI-powered platforms. Translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Stay ahead of emerging digital trends, including generative AI, voice search, and machine learning applications in health care marketing, and proactively adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Drive innovation in conversion rate optimization (CRO) through data-driven experimentation, A/B testing, personalization strategies, and UX enhancements that directly impact lead generation and appointment bookings.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop landing pages and microsites tailored to specific campaigns or service lines.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years focused on website strategy and execution.
  • Proven experience managing websites using Drupal CMS is required.
  • Experience in health care marketing or working with public health institutions is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies across the digital funnel.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other performance tracking tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Expertise in website marketing strategy, content management, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, CRO, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Drupal, HTML, and web design best practices.
  • Excellent content creation and editing skills.
  • Strong collaboration and project management abilities.
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Licenses and Certifications

  • No specific certifications required, though Google Analytics or HubSpot certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Hybrid work environment with occasional travel within NYC for meetings and site visits.
