About the role

Mater Foundation is seeking a digitally savvy Website & Digital Experience Specialist to support an organisation-wide website transformation project and ongoing website delivery and optimisation needs. This is a full-time maximum term 18-month contract based in Newstead

This hands on role is a unique opportunity to support the Mater Foundation component of our website migration program, moving to a new CMS and working with a digital agency to redesign and optimise our website experience.

Additionally, you will work with our Digital Campaigns Coordinator to support the creation and development of fundraising pages for our significant portfolio of fundraising events in the Funraisn website platform.

Experience working in a digitally integrated ecosystem across CMS, CRM and fundraising platforms is highly desirable.

Salary: Commensurate with experience plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  +access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

You will:

  • Support the transition of the Mater Foundation website to a new headless CMS
  • Work with our digital agency on finalising the UX, IA, design structures and content structure and be the conduit into the Mater Foundation marketing team
  • Working closely with our Content Team and digital agency, redesign pages and build them in to the new CMS using the new design structure and modules
  • Work with the digital agency to ensure SEO continuity
  • Analytics set up across the site using GA4
  • Be proactive across the complex stakeholder group to ensure we’re meeting timelines, prioritising where required and positively navigating change
  • Support the training of the Foundation Marketing team in using the new system
  • Build and optimise high-performing fundraising pages (Funraisin platform)

About you

You bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing / website management
  • Strong CMS experience (e.g. Contentstack, WordPress, Funraisn or similar)
  • GA4 and website reporting experience
  • Experience working in website transition projects is desired
  • A balance of marketing, UX and technical capability
  • Experience with website reporting, analytics & best practice optimisation
  • Strong stakeholder and agency management skills

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
